step 3: vote on october 24
The 2022 Muskoka municipal election is October 24th and you can vote anytime between October 17 and 24. You will receive a Voter Information Letter from your municipality at your permanent address sometime in September. It will include all of the information you need to vote, including your personal PIN, the website address and a telephone number for those who prefer to vote by phone, as well as detailed instructions on voting.
Muskoka is experiencing a lot of change. Waterfront over development, blue green algae blooms, excessive tree clearing, increased noise, and overall reduction in the quality Muskoka experience.

Who Can Vote?
You and your spouse can both vote in each municipality in Ontario where you own or rent property. So you and your spouse can both vote where you live permanently AND vote in Muskoka. Renters and their spouses can also vote, provided you are tenants on election day (October 24th).
You must be:
A Canadian citizen, and 18+ years old
Registered to vote

It is critical that we Get Out The Vote to ensure that we elect Municipal Councils across Muskoka that will work hard to support the Muskoka Priorities.
